What is Harness Suite?
Harness Suite is cloud-based software built specifically for wire harness and cable assembly manufacturers. It connects quoting, engineering, production and data integration on one platform, so information entered once carries forward from the customer RFQ to the documentation your operators build from.
It is organized as four modules — Harness Quoting, Harness Engineering, Harness Production and Harness Hub — working from one shared set of job data.
Who is Harness Suite built for?
Wire harness and cable assembly manufacturers running high-mix, low-volume work — shops where every job carries its own drawings, BOM, revisions and build documentation, and where re-keying that information between systems is the real bottleneck.
Market-specific detail is available for automotive, aerospace, medical device, electric vehicle, construction and off-road, industrial, defense and marine programs.
What are the four modules, and what does each one do?
- Harness Quoting — material and labor costing, pricing consistency, quote revisions and supporting documentation in one workspace.
- Harness Engineering — circuit and connection records, engineering notes, and the shop-floor documentation generated from them.
- Harness Production — ERP work orders imported, grouped into batches, sequenced by department and QR-tracked through the floor.
- Harness Hub — the API, engineering-integration and file-import gateway that feeds the other three.
Do we have to implement all four modules at once?
No. Harness Suite is modular. You can begin with the module covering your most immediate constraint — usually quote turnaround or engineering documentation — and add the others as the shared dataset proves out.
Harness Hub is what keeps them connected as you add, so nothing has to be re-entered when a second module comes online.
Does Harness Suite replace our ERP system?
Harness Suite is designed to automate and connect wire harness-specific quoting, engineering, and production workflows and can complement existing enterprise systems rather than requiring manufacturers to replace every system they already use.
How long does implementation take?
Implementation depends on the manufacturer's workflow, data, integrations, and modules being deployed. Harness Suite works with each customer to define the appropriate implementation approach.

Harness Quoting
Can Harness Suite automate wire harness quoting?
Yes. Harness Suite helps automate material costing, labor calculations, pricing, margin controls, quote documentation, and related estimating activities.

- Labor and production estimates, manufacturing operations, tooling and additional charges
- Quote revisions, version history, and supporting customer documentation kept with the quote
What happens after we win the quote?
That is one of the key differences with Harness Suite. Approved customer and quotation information can continue into engineering and production instead of being recreated manually in another system.
Quote data carries forward once a project is awarded, and Harness Engineering works from the same part, material and operation libraries the quote was built on.
Can we see quoting performance across the company?
Yes. The Executive Quote Performance Dashboard gives real-time visibility into quoting activity, value, margins, turnaround time and overall performance, so leadership can identify pricing concerns without waiting on a report.

Harness Engineering
What does the Engineering Module actually manage?
It holds the engineering record for the harness: circuit IDs, connection points, terminals and connector assignments in one controlled structure, with engineering notes, special instructions and production workflow requirements held alongside them.
That information is also presented as a visual diagram showing circuit connections, component relationships and overall harness structure — one shared reference for engineering, production and quality instead of a stack of separate documents.
What production documents can Harness Suite generate?
Harness Suite is designed to help generate and control information such as BOMs, circuit tables, shop travelers, engineering documentation, and production instructions.
The point is that the floor builds from the data engineering actually approved — clear build instructions at operator stations, and fewer questions coming back to the engineering desk.
How does Harness Suite manage revisions?
Harness Suite is designed to maintain controlled job and engineering information so production teams can work from approved, current revisions.
Once a revision is published, operators see the current approved version and nothing else, which is where most rework on high-mix work actually comes from.
Harness Production
What does the Production Module do?
It connects with your ERP system to turn released work orders into an organized, visible and measurable production workflow. Work orders are imported, grouped into production batches, sequenced for each department, and tracked through the floor with QR-enabled digital work tickets.
Grouping compatible requirements into batches improves workflow continuity, reduces unnecessary handling, and makes better use of labor, equipment and materials.
How does QR tracking work on the floor?
Each production ticket carries a unique QR code that ties the physical part to its digital production record. Employees scan it as the part moves, which records activity and updates status.

- Labor activity, work-order and batch information
Can we compare actual labor against our standards?
Yes. Actual labor is collected as work is performed and compared against your established standards, so management can see where the time is really going — operations running long, differences between actual and standard labor, developing bottlenecks, and standards or training that may need review.
The management dashboard shows where each part is, percentage complete, and where delays are forming, without calling three departments.
Harness Hub
What types of customer information can Harness Suite import?
Harness Suite is designed to work with the drawings, BOMs, spreadsheets, CSV files, and other information commonly received during the wire harness RFQ process.
Harness Hub also supports PDF documents, customer-provided data, supplier technical documentation, and guided manual data entry for projects that do not begin with a structured file at all.
Does Harness Suite integrate with Zuken or AutoCAD?
Yes. Harness Hub supports integration with engineering platforms such as Zuken and AutoCAD, bringing available design and drawing information into the Harness Suite workflow.
Because access varies by system, a connection may be an API, an approved data exchange, or another supported method. Where no direct integration exists, file imports cover the same ground.
Can Harness Suite connect with supplier pricing and component data?
Harness Suite is designed to incorporate supplier and material technical documentation into the estimating and sourcing workflow.
Where a supplier source participates, Harness Hub can connect to access available technical component information, reducing repetitive searches and improving data consistency around component specifications. Where an OEM system supports it, the same applies to customer drawings and project information.
INTEGRATION, DATA AND COMPLIANCE

Does Harness Suite integrate with ERP or MRP platforms?
Yes. Harness Suite is designed to integrate with existing ERP and MRP systems and to import data from a variety of file formats, enabling manufacturers to create BOMs, production planning schedules, and pricing, either on demand or on a defined schedule.
Because integration requirements vary, specific ERP, MRP, supplier, and customer-system integrations are evaluated during the discovery process to fit your existing workflow and technology environment.
How does Harness Suite protect sensitive customer information?
Harness Suite incorporates modern security and access-control principles designed for manufacturers handling sensitive OEM, engineering, pricing, and production information.

Harness Suite is designed to support organizations operating in CMMC Level 2 and NIST SP 800-171 environments, and is engineered for deployment within security-controlled cloud environments designed to accommodate applicable FedRAMP requirements.
The platform supports rigorous access controls, identity and authentication safeguards, encryption, audit logging, continuous monitoring, traceability, and controlled information handling. The appropriate security controls, hosting architecture, implementation responsibilities and authorization requirements depend on your federal use case and selected deployment environment.
Can Harness Suite be used with ITAR-controlled technical data?
Harness Suite supports manufacturers working with ITAR-controlled technical data through deployment and administration within an appropriately secured, access-controlled environment. This may include restrictions on data location, system access, authorized personnel, information sharing, and the handling of export-controlled technical information.
